North Carolina, not all play

Mr. Potato Head had more to do in North Carolina than just visit the capitol building. He was also assigned to man the Visit Salt Lake booth and answer questions from conference attendees about Salt Lake. The same conference will be held in Salt Lake next April. He was doing a drawing to win a free Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass. If you don't know what the Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass is you should check out the website by clicking here.

Raleigh, North Carolina capitol building

Mr. Potato Head was in North Carolina recently and took some time to visit the state capitol building. With a little assist he was able to snuggle up close to a closed magnolia blossom. Then he found a big open one. We had to hurry and take the picture because there was a huge bee in the flower and the person assisting him was nervous.

Then he sat on a big army gun.

Ok so I'm not really sure what the correct term for this type of gun his but he visited in anyhow.

Around the front of the capitol building there is a memorial for all the branches of the armed services. I thought it was very cool.
